Plant Medicine in my Garden
An introduction to growing and making your own medicine using the herbs that grow in your garden.
Learn about ten medicinal plants you can easily grow in your garden and their healing properties—oregano, basil, rosemary, thyme, dill, parsley, lavender, peppermint, sage and garlic. Also, three common “weeds” that we are often trying to get out of our gardens that are actually very powerful medicines. Find out when/how to harvest these herbs and what part of the plant to use (leaf, root, seed, and/or flower) …then make some medicine of your own to take home!
