$25 drop-in fee. 10am-12 noon
Come spend a few hours at cabinorganic learning to identify medicinal wild plants. We will discuss when to harvest, what parts of the plant to harvest, time of day/year to harvest, ethical harvesting, as well as drying and storing herbs. Participants will be welcome to harvest select herbs that grow in abundance, so check in advance if our are seeking particular plants.
Come dressed for the weather! The walk may be cancelled/reschedules in the event of heavy rain or electrical storms.
Instructor: Delena Rose Tsang, B.Sc., B.Ed., M.Ed
Delena has been a passionate forager and gardener for over 25 years and has been making plant medicine for over 12 years. Her practice is guided by her Indigenous (Metis) culture as well as a scientific background (biology, ecology, plant intelligence). As an educator, Delena loves spending time with people on her land and in her garden.
