The Art of Herbal Tea Blending: Autumn Edition
Step into the world of herbal medicine and learn how to craft your own healing tea blends using plants. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll discover how to combine herbs for both therapeutic effect and beautiful flavour. We’ll explore how herbs work in the body, how to balance a formula, and how to make teas that people actually want to drink.
In the second half of the workshop, you’ll create five personalized herbal tea blends to take home—each designed to support different aspects of wellness, including relaxation, immunity, vitality, and more.

This workshop includes:
-Handout with tea recipes
-Plant Walk on Delena’s land to experience many of the plants we will be working with
-Sample a herbal teas made with fresh and dried herbs
-Instruction and demonstrations
-Learn the foundations of formulating tea blends, especially balancing flavour profiles. Understand herbal actions. Learn how to make tea infusions and decoctions properly (for maximum medicinal benefits). Taste-enhancing tips
-Create five custom tea blends (~56 g each—4 servings) to take home: Calm and Sleep Tea, Spring Detox, Anti-inflammatory Comfort Tea, Pick Me Up Energy Tea, and Headache Relief Tea.

Instructor: Delena Rose Tsang, B.Sc., B.Ed., M.Ed, Certified Herbalist
Delena has been studying natural health and herbology, making plant medicine, and making/selling her own natural body and home care products for over 15 years. Her practice is guided by her Indigenous (Metis) culture and scientific background (biology, botany, plant intelligence, ecology). As an educator, Delena loves spending time with people on her land, in her garden, and in her kitchen.
